Dear Fellow Alumni, As salamualaikum and Greetings! The alumni association create a strong bond between the Departments and their alumni and contribute to the development of the departments through increased interaction and cooperation. I do hope that the DUPAA will do the same. It is well known to us that Pharmacy alumni are well placed in various sectors inside and outside the country and serving their respective organization with honor, dignity and responsibility. They have also started significant contributions to the development, progress and prosperity of the newly formed Pharmacy Alumni Association. The Department of Pharmacy is one of the oldest department of University of Dhaka. However, its Alumni Association is youngest one which has been formed recently in 2016. I would like to express deep gratitude to Prof Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, former Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy and Prof. Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar, former Chairman of the Pharmacy Department, who formed DUPAA in 2016. It was a privilege and I found immense pleasure to serve as Secretary General of the Association, for a 2-year term, as a member of the team of office bearers, we have tried to do our best to strengthen the bond between the Alumni and the Alma Mater. We were created the DUPAA website (www.dupaa.org). I do hope that the next phase would be to develop a directory of Alumni on the website. A heartfelt thanks to all who provided valuable feedback, helped and encouraged us in our endeavors.
